Some tempo training on the old chest explained - Always been a fan of tempo / time under tension. 40kg - 34kg 3030 28kg 20kg 5050 - so that means 3 seconds up 0 rest rest 3 seconds down 0 rest back up keeping the muscle constant under tension so your muscle will be under tension for 60 seconds instead of a fast 10 reps for 20 seconds this will traumatise your muscles. - Time Under Tension for a set, how long you perform one exercise consecutively, is calculated by multiplying the number of repetitions of an exercise by the tempo.  The Time Under Tension of an exercise dictates your training result.  With no tempo – you are only guessing at that training result. For example, performing 10 repetitions of a dumbbell chest press but only taking 20 seconds to do that would change your result compared with taking 60 seconds to perform the exact same number of repetitions. If you want to build muscle, the optimal time under tension would be 40 to 90 seconds. If you perform your 10 chest

You don't want that when you are trying to maximise your results ‼ Try these mobility exercises and never look back 🔥 1️⃣ Angled dumbbell external rotation. 2️⃣ Standing band presses. I reccomend doing X2-3 sets of each and 20-25 reps per set at the start of your chest routine. That will get things moving 💪 Dressed in all @alphalete again!

Common injuries associated with bench pressing including classic impingement. This is normally due to a lack of an awareness of, control of, or ability to get into an extended shoulder position In the absence of any obvious capsular issues then work on positioning with the press from the rack (first vid), and work on increasing shoulder extension using PNF stretching of the shoulder flexors (second vid) Your ego will thank me later 🤳@bea_wo_👌
