Today’s flexibility Friday is focused on a simple, yet very effective lay stretch • To start place one hand on a bar or machine, and let the other side rest or place your opposite side on your leg - just keeps focus on the side you’re stretching • Next, lean back until you feel a good, deep stretch in your back. You’re not pulling or anything, just leaning back slowly into the dee stretch position • Repeat on the opposite side. Hold for 30 seconds each side and repeat 3-4 times. A variation is to also use both hands at once, as you can see at the end of the video 👌🏻 • Try this out at the office. After a long ride or flight. Or as a general everyday stretch 💪🏼

It’s been awhile since I posted something but I’ve just been more focused on trying to get through training the past couple of weeks. Feeling super depleted and flat. We’re about one week out of my first national show and I’m not sure what to really expect. But I do expect to give it my all and my best. Like most people who goes through the prep life, it ain’t easy. When it comes down to the last couple of weeks, the training gets more intense and you will start to get fatigued. But you must find the will to push through because you’re going to see that you’re stronger than you think you really are.

Banded 3-Pulse Squats. ⭐️Beginner: 8 reps. ⭐️Advanced: 14-16 reps. TIP: Stay low in the pulses, keep your weight at your heels, and SQUEEZE that bum on your way up.☝🏻 2. Banded Kneeling Jump Squats. ⭐️Beginner: 4 reps each side. ⭐️Advanced: 10 reps each side. TIP: Stay low in a squat as you kneel down & explode up into your jump squat. EXHALE as you explode up. 3.
