The first (never ending) circuit included: . . - 155 lb hip thrusts (20 reps) - Weighted step ups using 20 lb dumbbells (10 reps each leg) - 45 lb goblet squats (20 reps) Done for 4 sets with minimal to no rest. I definitely felt like dying about 1/3 of the way through. It’s not because I’m @#disciplined it’s because I truly believe in the value that barbell training adds to my life. Doing hard things consistently helps make us more resilient humans. The value gained from showing up on the days when I’m tired or stressed is more important to me than the PRs and days where training is easy. Too busy taking care of other people, too busy working full time hours in a part time position, too busy juggling friends and family time, too busy to choose myself first. Let’s just call it what it was though, shall we? My priorities were not in the order they should have been in! . The bottom line is: if something is important to you, you will make time for it. I’m even busier now than I used to be, but it’s worth it to put in the hard work now so I can free up my time later on! . When you’re lucky enough to find something you are truly passionate about, think about what could happen if you made it a top priority! And if that doesn’t inspire you then keep searching! This is super relevant; I went through stages where I would smash myself at the gym to sweat a lot as I thought that if I didn’t I wasn’t getting a good workout it. But it turned into the complete opposite, I fatigued leading to having more rest days. Yes it’s great to do ultra sweaty sessions but it’s also great to have sessions where you walk out feeling great, and know that your body is thanking you for the movement 🏃‍♀️🙌

I am going through one of these moments and as long as you know where to go back to, it’s ok. Life is made of moments and phases... I don't know about you guys, but I am made from these moments! There are moments I am more focused on diet and training, on the good times of life… But I go through boring moments too, where I don't want to diet, I don't want to go to the gym, moments I want to be alone ... And it's okay to go through these moments. We have to learn to get to know ourselves, and understand that moments will pass, and they don’t last forever... Social networks consume us a lot, we tend to compare ourselves to the rest of the world all the time, to '' live '' someone else’s life and idolize people, we want to be as thin as the blogger that talk about how she have the perfect plan to look like her, we want to travel like celebrities, we want to live

I used to get mad because I felt like my life and the obstacles I have to face daily are “unfair” and that things should be easier. I love going to the gym in Sunday’s because it’s always empty 😬 Plus it’s a really good way to start the new week 😚 today we trained glutes and it was magnificent : ⠀⠀ 1️⃣Front Squats 3X12 — Place the weight/bar on your shoulders, keep your weight on your heels (never your toes) and drive through your glutes 2️⃣Sumo Deadlifts 3X12 — Have a wide stance with your toes pointed at a 45 degree angle 3️⃣Curtsy Lunges 3X8 each leg — Most of your weight should be on your front leg. Take your time with these! 4️⃣Step Ups 3X10 each leg — These can be done with or without weight 5️⃣Good mornings superset with Hack Squat 3X10 each — Your butt cheeks will be screaming 😅 ⠀⠀ Now it’s time to go home and cuddle my cranky toddler until bedtime 🥰 @#ipreview via @preview.app
