I heard @tombilyeu say you should do at least one thing a day that is really hard. Make it a habit. Crank that heat up to 170F or more and see how long you can take it. 3. Evidence suggests if you can do it for a half hour or longer you increase growth hormone production. Which is great for recovery. 3. Sweating is also great for recovery. Have you ever had an alarm malfunction and wake realizing you have only 20 minutes to make it to the start line ?...Read on.. . 13th October - My alarm is set for 2:40am so I can comfortably make it to the 4am start for the Bangalore Marathon. The alarm goes off and I wake and look at my phone It read 3:40am. I thought there was something wrong with my phone as I clearly remember setting it to 2.40am . As I slipped out of my bed I just happened to see my wife's phone as well ..3.41am. This was real. . I woke my wife up and told her I have exactly 19minutes to make it to the start line which is 6km away and told her to get in the car and I would be down in a minute. This was the moment I had to choose on doing one thing which was the most important thing to do. Brush my teeth, Empty my tummy or change my clothes. . I choose the first option as having dragons breath at 4am was not cool. So I brushed my teeth carried clothes, shoes and some #nutrition and got in the car. My wife started

Client spotlight 🔥how this client upped her calories and lost body fat/weight! .... This client achieved this in only 6 weeks! She’s pretty small as it is however she still lost cms around her waist and hips while getting way stronger in the gym and building up muscle (look at those lifted glutes!) . . How? This client was not eating enough previously (around 1200cals per day) and was struggling to see strength/ muscle gain. So we upped her food slowly by about 500 calories!! And focused on getting more protein in, with protein powders, bigger meals, and smoothies. . . In doing this it took her body out of its stress response of holding onto fat (the body thinks you are starving it so it holds onto fat when calories too low). She also built muscle which boosts your metabolism. . . She also started weight training 4+x a week and was more consistent with workouts. . . Just 3 or 4 weeks ago I was fit, full of energy working out every day, my healthy eating was awesome but then I started getting depressed, going to work, come back home to my room watching movies, I didn’t want to do nothing I wanted to stay in bed all day all nights. I started to gain weight and I was in a situation that the only person can help was myself. So I start it to realize that this was a problem and I didn’t believe what was happening. I started making a change to eat better, to work out in between my Patients,to walk little by little. I know I’m still in a working progress of everything but I’m a warrior, I love my self, I’m stronger than anything that can get in my way and nothing can defeat me. 💪🏻👊🏻🙏🏻❤️😘🤗🤜🏻

Beetroot, Apple & Ginger soup Ingredients 1 medium onion, chopped 2 celery stalks, chopped 2 garlic cloves, chopped 500g beetroot, peeled, chopped 1 Royal Gala apple ,peeled, chopped 3cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, chopped ½ teaspoon ground cumin 800ml reduced-salt vegetable stock 4 tablespoons reduced-fat plain yoghurt, to serve Basil leaves, to garnish Instructions 1 Spray a large saucepan with olive oil and set over medium heat. Sauté onion, celery, garlic and beetroot for 5 minutes, or until softened. 2 Add the apple, ginger, cumin and stock to the pan. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover, simmer for 35 minutes. 3 Blend the soup until smooth. Easy paleo almond protein cupcakes! Posted @withrepost@sugarfree.recipes Here’s a low-carb, high protein “cupcake” that can be prepped in just 2 minutes with just 4 ingredients! The recipe shown contains under 140 calories and 9g protein and is best consumed warm. Ingredients: - 1 egg - 6 g (1 tbsp) @pb.and.me sugar-free powdered almond butter - 2 tsp Westpoint Naturals monk fruit powder or equivalent of another sweetener - 1 tsp oil (we like avocado oil as it is healthy and flavourless) 1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender for 1 minute. 2. Pour batter into 1 or 2 muffin cups, depending on your preferred size. 3. Bake in a toaster oven at 335 deg F for 5-8 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. This recipe is best consumed while warm. Photo shows one batch, blended with an immersion blender and baked into 2 small cupcakes. You can also make multiple batches and/or divide the batter into fewer larger cupcakes. I made Vegetable Lentil Soup *(not real soupy) but that's my preference. 😁 Instant Pot did not fail me! 🙌🏼😉 15 min cook time, maybe another 15 in prep. Recipe called for spinach after cooked, but I went rogue and used the kale I had available. As a child, I had once seen a celebrity chef cook Basbousa on TV. Since then, I had wanted to make it. All I remembered was the name of the dish. Today, I was in the mood of having something sweet, so I googled Basbousa recipes and decided to give it a try. Fortunately, the result turned out to be a lot better than my expectations. Basbousa is an Egyptian sweet cake made with semolina, citrus zest and rose water. It is found in the cuisines of the Middle East, the Balkans and the North Africa under a variety of names.
